Perfect for TILLS beginners (or users who want a refresher)!

Master the fundamentals of using the Test of Integrated Language and Literacy Skills (TILLS®)—the groundbreaking assessment for testing oral and written language skills in students ages 6–18 and differentially diagnosing DLD and dyslexia.

If you haven’t had formal TILLS training, this six-hour virtual workshop is the perfect chance to learn from an expert: Michele Anderson, Ph.D., TILLS Consultant/Trainer and research team member. In this hands-on, single-day training, Dr. Anderson will address key questions around successful use of TILLS and get you fully prepared to use TILLS for its three intended purposes:

  • Differentially diagnosing developmental language disorder (DLD), dyslexia, or mixed profiles
  • Providing a profile of a student’s relative strengths and weaknesses
  • Tracking change over time
Who Should Attend?

Equally useful for TILLS novices or users who want a refresher, this training is for in-service SLPs, special educators, school psychologists, and reading and literacy instructors working with school-age students with language and/or literacy learning difficulties. Multidisciplinary school teams are encouraged to attend.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll come away ready to:

  • Use the Student Language Scale (SLS)—included with the TILLS Examiner’s Kit—to screen for language/literacy disorders and plan for assessment
  • Administer and score each of the 15 TILLS subtests accurately and efficiently
  • Save time, streamline scoring, and reduce errors with the TILLS Easy-Score
  • Successfully interpret what TILLS results mean and how to use them in practice
  • Accurately distinguish dyslexia, DLD, and mixed profiles
  • Develop clear and actionable profiles of students’ language/literacy strengths and weaknesses, including the profile associated with dyslexia
  • Use the TILLS report writing template to decrease the time spent on assessment and report writing
