ATTENDEES WILL:

• Explore the role of the building blocks of the sentence (parts of speech, phrases, and clauses) in constructing meaning
• Get a framework for improving students’ sentence comprehension through intentional and incidental on-purpose instruction
• Learn about instructional routines, strategies, and activities that help learners comprehend both individual sentences and combinations of sentences within a text

Each attendee will receive a packet of activities and handouts, and certificates of attendance will be provided to attendees of the live workshop. The recording will be available to attendees for 4 weeks after the workshop.
